Listed below is an arranged circuit of the 26 Shotokan kata in a “Kata of the Month” format offer your dojo some long-term structure and variety when teaching.  The idea is to focus on the BASIC KATA in beginner classes and ADVANCED KATA in Regular/Advanced Classes.  ADVANCED KATA are spaced so that similar kata (Sentei, Tekki, & Jion family) don’t repeat closely to each other.
